Armand John DeLess
Armand John DeLess, 82, of Butler died Sept. 5 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 16, 1925, he was the son of Angelo and Rose DeLess.
He loved hunting, gardening and working on cars.
Mr. DeLess was a World War II Navy veteran and served on the USS Bennington from 1942 to 1945.
He had worked for the Bessemer Railroad and retired from the Butler Township Road Department in 1981 after 31 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Tina Blakley and her husband, Kevin and Linda Schoettker and her husband, Leonard; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Joan A. DeLess; and seven brothers and sisters.
