Robert and Etta Elliott of Butler celebrated 45 years of marriage recently with a family dinner.

The former Etta Himes married Elliott on April 14, 1961, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have two children, Terry and Randy, both of Butler.

The Elliotts also have three grandchildren.

Mr. Elliott is retired from the Center Township roads department. His hobbies include hunting and gardening.

Mrs. Elliott is retired from J.C. Penney. She works at Rodger's Dairy Queen. She enjoys sewing and reading.

The couple belongs to Rider Lutheran Church in West Sunbury.
