H. Dale and Doris Sopher

H. Dale and Doris Sopher of Harrisville will celebrate 60 years of marriage with an open house hosted by their family from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Harmony United Presbyterian Church in Harrisville. The couple requests no gifts.

Sopher married the former Doris Shipton June 24, 1949, at West Unity Church in Harrisville.

They have two children, Deborah Baker of Portland, Ore., and Dennis Sopher of Harrisville.

They also have four grandchildren.

Sopher is retired from Montgomery Truss and Panel in Grove City.

Mrs. Sopher is retired from J.C. Penney in Grove City.

The Sophers belong to Harmony United Presbyterian Church.
