PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police are hunting for suspects in the shooting death of a 23-year-old man.

Police say Donald Royster was found dead early Sunday outside an apartment complex in the city's Hill District neighborhood. Police say Royster was shot several times.

No suspects are in custody. Police are asking for help in their investigation.

GRINDSTONE — A 12-year-old boy is dead after being shot during a domestic dispute in a Western Pennsylvania home.Police say the boy's father is in custody and suspected of pulling the trigger. No charges have been filed yet.The circumstances of the shooting in Redstone Township in Fayette County remain unclear. Police say the incident occurred at about 10 p.m. Sunday in the town about 40 miles south of Pittsburgh.Police say the child was shot in the chest and died instantly. His identity has not been released.A woman also was wounded and is being treated at a local hospital.

WAYNESBURG — State police say an 81-year-old man was shot and killed before his Western Pennsylvania home was set on fire.Police say the body of Noble Wine was found early Friday in the remains of the burned house in Waynesburg, about 50 miles south of Pittsburgh.Police say the cause of the fire is arson. They say an autopsy found Wine died of a gunshot wound.

PHILADELPHIA — A former Philadelphia newscaster is to be sentenced for snooping into his co-anchor's e-mail account.Former KYW-TV newscaster Larry Mendte, 51, pleaded guilty in August to one count of illegally accessing a protected computer.He admitted reading more than 500 of Alycia Lane's e-mail messages in one five-month period alone.The FBI began investigating Mendte in the spring, when a station employee stumbled upon a computer that was logged into Lane's private e-mail account — nearly 2 months after she was fired.Mendte faces a possible maximum sentence of five years in prison.

PITTSBURGH — A detention hearing will be held in Pittsburgh for a man arrested on federal drug trafficking charges during a raid that ended with the killing of an FBI agent.Law enforcement agents arrested 39-year-old Robert Korbe on Wednesday during a broad Pittsburgh-area sweep targeting suspected drug traffickers.Korbe's wife, 40-year-old Christina Korbe, has been charged with homicide. Police say she shot and killed FBI Special Agent Sam Hicks during the raid at her suburban Pittsburgh home. Police say Korbe told them she thought her home was being burglarized and that she was shooting a home invader.
