6:04 p.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Angela Marie Simpson, 37, of 121 Elizabeth Ave., Evans City, struck a deer on Route 68, causing moderate damage to her vehicle.2:14 p.m. Monday — A three-vehicle chain reaction accident resulted in one injury on Route 68 near Wahl Road. Police said a vehicle driven by Rodney A. Stuebgen, 66, of Freeport Road, Butler, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Richard A. Sansonetti of Imperial, Pa., who was stopped behind a vehicle making a turn. The collision pushed his vehicle into that of Nancy Gail Kramer of 115 Annabell Lane, Zelienople. Sansonetti was taken by Harmony EMS to UPMC Passavant Cranberry for treatment. Steuben was cited for failing to drive at safe speeds.11:05 p.m. Sunday — A vehicle driven by Richard Allen Carmichael of 250 Walnut St., Zelienople, was traveling on Route 19 near Tollgate Road, when his vehicle struck a deer, causing moderate damage.6:01 p.m. Nov. 10 — Tyler Hohman, 16, of 226 Kaufman Road in Jackson Township was traveling on Kaufman Road when he lost control of his vehicle and slid into a ditch off the side of the road. No injuries were reported.2:07 p.m. Nov. 7 — Police responded to a vehicle over a hillside along Ridge Road. The driver, Elizabeth W. Strahan, 50, of 277 Evans Road, Zelienople, told police she was having medical problems prior to the accident, which caused heavy damage to the vehicle. Police also noted the road was wet. Strahan was taken by Harmony EMS to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment.
7:15 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Chang Ping Dong, 50, of Kittanning skidded off Route 356 near Hannahstown Road in Jefferson Township and struck a utility pole. Dong, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.6:45 p.m. Wednesday — Alex Peoples, 25, of Butler was arrested for shoplifting a jacket and hat from two stores at the Clearview Mall in Center Township. Peoples tried to flee but was caught by mall security officers. He is charged with retail theft and disorderly conduct.4:54 p.m. Wednesday — Sport utility vehicles driven by Shannon McKinney, 28, of Ithaca, Mich., and Adam Keller, 18, of Evans City collided on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.6 a.m. Wednesday — Vehicles driven by Bonnie Bunnell, 51, of Portersville and Michael Potter, 39, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, collided at Route 19 and Lake Arthur Drive in Muddy Creek Township.Wednesday — About 200 feet of solid copper ground wire was stolen between Oct. 13 and Wednesday from the Allegheny Power substation on Route 268 in Fairview Township.Wednesday — Apair of red and blue lawn ornaments — depicting a yard jockey and Dutch boy — were taken from the Aspen Road home of Ruth Ann Gilmore in Fairview Township. The property, stolen between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, is valued at $400.
4:50 p.m. Wednesday — Acar driven by Frank Eckles Jr., no age given, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Wendy Wiley, no age given, both of New Castle, collided on Route 422 at the Johnson Sisters Restaurant in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
