The Kummers in 1962

Ronald “Punkin” and Lucille “Jeanne” Kummer of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an anniversary party May 19 at American Legion Post 117.

Kummer married the former Lucille Rocco on May 19, 1962, at St. Conrad’s Church in Meridian.

They have four children, Ron Kummer II of Pittsburgh, Ginger Jones, Andrea Hutchens and Rena White, all of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren.

Kummer is retired from Armco.

Mrs. Kummer is a retired bartender.

The Kummers are members of St. Fidelis Church.
