8:36 a.m. Thursday — Someone stole 18 new and two used catalytic converters, valued at $1,100, from Iarrapino's Muffler and Brake Shop on West Cunningham Street in Butler.
1:22 p.m. Feb. 8 — Jonathan Michael Nickleach, 21, of Butler was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, attempted theft and theft by unlawful taking in connection with a burglary that occurred on Colleen Street. Nickleach is in the Butler County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
9 a.m. Thursday — Someone removed 21 feet of copper ground wire and three copper ground bars, each 2 feet by 5 inches, from a cell phone tower on Stanford Road in Muddy Creek Township between 9 a.m. Dec. 21 and 9 a.m. Thursday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.4:23 p.m. Wednesday — John Thomas Young, 19, of Butler was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and corruption of minors following a traffic stop behind Clearview Mall in Center Township. Joshua Daniel Stutz, 18, of Butler, a passenger in the car, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A second passenger, a 17-year-old Butler boy, was charged in juvenile court with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.Wednesday — Someone broke into the Garden Gate Restaurant in Franklin Township between Tuesday and Wednesday. No other information was available.6:25 p.m. Monday — Robert A. Woodruff, 27, of Mars was charged with driving under the influence after a vehicle he was driving crashed into an embankment and overturned on Route 58 in Marion Township. Woodruff was not wearing a seat belt.Feb. 17 — Matthew W. Hayes, 37, of Prospect was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding after the investigation of an accident on Yellowcreek Road in Muddy Creek Township.2:50 a.m. Feb. 17 — Adam Geibel, 19, of Butler and Anthony Carbin, 20, of Fenelton were each charged with simple assault, ethnic intimidation, harassment, underage drinking and criminal mischief after they allegedly assaulted Jose Diaz IV, 23, of Sarver at a party in Chicora because they believed him to be of African-American descent.
8 a.m. Tuesday — Someone stole a car stereo valued at $1,000 from a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban belonging to Harold Price of Grove City while it was parked at Grove City Chevrolet in Pine Township between 5 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.
4 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Jennifer R. Lash, 28, of Kittanning crashed on Old Highway 28 in North Buffalo Township. Lash was wearing a seat belt and a 2-year-old child was in a child safety seat. Neither was injured.3:30 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Kyu H. Lee, 46, of Kittanning crashed into a tree along Route 28 in South Buffalo Township. Lee was wearing a seat belt and no injuries were reported.3:20 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Ronal E. Aites, 59, of Kittanning crashed on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township. Aites was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.9:40 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Robert Klolicki, 73, of Worthington crashed on Craigsville Road in West Franklin Township. Klolicki was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.6:05 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Amanda B. Rosensteel, 29, of Kittanning and a car driven by Frank A. Lominski, 51, of Boyers collided on Route 422 in East Franklin Township. Both drivers wore seat belts and no injuries were reported.State Police, Franklin2:05 a.m. Saturday — John L. Flemming, 49, of Clintonville was charged with driving under the influence after he was found parked along Interstate 80 in Clinton Township.
