I am responding to Donna Patterson's March 19 take on the cell tower proposed for land near Knoch Middle School in the South Butler School District. If we already have 10, why do we need another?

Isn't it a personal choice to subject oneself and family to radiation? The children and all who work at the school will have no choice. There the tower will be over their heads for a steady six to seven hours a day.

I thought Thoma's Market was in the meat business. What are they getting out of a tower on their property?

Is it worth the price of our children's health, the price of education to students in the South Butler district, the price of their well-being.

Maybe we should reflect on the Easter message of what did those few silver coins buy?
