Draper 50th anniversary
William and Frances Draper of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with family dinner on Monday at W. Rick's Restaurant. They also celebrated with a trip to the Bahamas and Walt Disney World with family.
The former Frances Muto married Draper on June 19, 1954, at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have a son, Dr. Randall Draper of Cranberry Township, and two grandchildren.
Draper retired from the Butler City Police in 1976 after working as a captain. In 1993, he retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. He is a member of the French and Belgium Club and the Fraternal Order of Police Golf League.
Mrs. Draper retired from Kiddie City in 1993, where she worked as a teacher's aide.
The couple attends St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
