Gladys Biannuci

Gladys M. Bianucci, 95, of Butler passed away Saturday morning.

Born in Butler, on Oct. 12, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Ida Logan Gall.

She was a member of the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She was a former server at Holiday Inn, and she also had worked at the Spaide Shirt factory and at the W.T. Grant Co. She loved bowling, dancing, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles.

Gladys is survived by her husband of 72 years, Peter. J. “Bud” Bianucci. They were married on May 4, 1940.

Also surviving are one daughter, Pam Burke and her husband, Dan, of Butler; one son, Gordon “Gordy” Bianucci and his wife, Nancy, of Butler; four grandchildren, Tracy Stroschein and her husband, Matt, of Mohnton, Pa., Sean Burke and his wife, Jennifer, of Butler, Todd Bianucci and his wife, Carol, of Chicora and Mark Bianucci of Karns City; four great-grandchildren, Max, Madeline and Drake Burke of Butler and Brianna Bianucci of Chicora; and one step- great-grandchild, Shawna Bianucci, of Chicora.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Bianucci, who passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Butler.
