Nicklas 105th birthday
Bernice Nicklas, a former resident of Butler, where she and her husband Brownie lived and raised their daughter, will celebrate her 105th birthday with an Dec. 18 open house reception at White Rock Court in Dallas. Family and friends from both Dallas and Pennsylvania will attend.
Her actual birthday falls on Dec. 23.
Nicklas has been living in Dallas for 7 years and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has made quite a few friends while living at White Rock Court, and the staff considers her their personal grandma. She has had the opportunity for a couple of shopping trips this year and also going to church with her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Tim Johnson.
