8:15 a.m. Wednesday — Emily D. Eames, 29, of Grove City was arrested on several traffic warrants following a traffic stop at West Poplar and Elm streets. Police said Eames was later released after she made a payment on the fines she owed for the previous traffic violations.Tuesday — Francis J. Bassani Sr., 51, of Grove City was cited for disorderly conduct stemming from a suspected case of road rage last week.Police said Bassani reportedly got of his vehicle about 1:20 p.m. Sept. 5 as traffic was stopped on South Broad Street. He allegedly confronted another driver about a traffic incident, then threatened the occupants of the vehicle.Aug. 29 — Brandon P. Lewis, 19, of McKeesport, Allegheny County, and Brittany Rae Pringle, 21, of Grove City were arrested after police allegedly found them with 186 stamp bags of suspected heroin at the Park Motel on West Main Street.Police said they initially found 50 stamp bags in the trunk of the vehicle the couple was using. Officers obtained a search for the suspects' motel room, where they found 136 bags, according to a police report.Lewis and Pringle were arraigned on felony and misdemeanor counts of drug possession and conspiracy charges, and placed in the Mercer County Jail on $50,000 bail each.Aug. 20 — Unspecified property was stolen from a home in the 100 block of South Broad Street. The theft happened between Aug. 14 and 20.
6:45 p.m. Tuesday — Cars driven by Kayla S. Morris, 20, and Zachery R. Beatty, 23, both of Slippery Rock, collided at South Main Street and Fairview Drive in Slippery Rock. Police said Morris was cited for running a red light.Sunday — An unknown burglar stole several unspecified items from a home on Route 68 in Donegal Township. The burglary happened between 10 p.m. Saturday and 12:25 a.m. Sunday.Saturday — Two Apple iPhones were stolen during a party at a home on Cobblestone Lane in Slippery Rock Township. Police said they have no suspects.State Police, New CastleSept. 4 — Several unspecified items were stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 3000 block of Frew Mill Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The theft happened Sept. 3 or 4.
