Thursday — Kevin E. Franklin, 33, of Butler was arrested for allegedly failing to register his address under Megan's Law. Franklin did not notify authorities when he moved from his Mackey Avenue home to his West Jefferson Street home in February.He was placed in Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail.

12:19 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Kurtis Knoble, 63, of Butler struck an embankment along Saxonburg Road after Knoble began to suffer the effects of having low blood sugar.Knoble was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of his blood sugar level.10:19 p.m. Jan. 20 — Three juvenile males were charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly throwing an object at a residence along the 200 block of Bartley Avenue.

Thursday — Mark A. McDeavitt Jr., 21, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspected DUI following a traffic stop along Unionville Road in Franklin Township.Charges are pending results of a blood test.

Thursday — Ruth A. Hicks, 30, of Emlenton was charged with making a false report to law enforcement after she reported she was raped by a Grove City resident. The accusation was later proven to be false.Thursday — Dakota Cline, 19, of Mercer was charged with criminal mischief for allegedly slashing four tires on a parked vehicle Oct. 11 in the 200 block of South Broad Street.
