2:27 a.m. Monday — Two people were injured when a vehicle driven by Colby Nicholas, 22, of Butler struck a utility pole along Portman Road. Nicholas and Brandon Geist, 22, of Butler, a passenger, were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate to serious injuries.Police said Nicholas was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.8:35 p.m. Sunday — Vehicles driven by Barbara Jones, 60, of Cabot and Robert Kwalwasser, 83, of Renfrew collided at South Eberhart and Evans City roads.5:56 p.m. Friday — Brian Jones, 48, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle crashed on the Fisher Hill portion of Whitestown Road. Police said Jones also faces a charge of careless driving.3:55 p.m. Friday — Janae Lyon-Brown, 29, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUIafter her car struck two road signs and a mailbox along Highfield Road. Police said Lyon-Brown drove off after the crash.Police said in addition to DUI, Lyon-Brown faces hit-and-run and careless driving charges.10:16 p.m. Nov. 22 — AWashington County man and woman are accused of allegedly shoplifting a plastic garbage can full of razor blade replacements, a razor and cell phone from the Wal-Mart store at Butler Commons. Tanner Boyle, 27, of West Brownsville and Amanda D. Smith, 25, of Ellsworth are charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.

2:58 a.m. Sunday — Charles W. Evans Jr., 48, of New Castle was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck crashed into a tow-behind trailer parked in the driveway of a Route 488 home in Portersville. Evans suffered unknown injuries in the crash.12:27 a.m. Sunday — Paul Porter, 47, of Hilliards skidded off snow-covered Fairview Road in Fairview Township and struck a tree.Sunday — AMoultrie game camera was stolen between Thursday and Sunday from a wooded area at a Unionville Road in Jefferson Township. Police said Richard Raabe of Prospect owns the camera.10:30 p.m. Saturday — Julie Sikora, 35, of Ontario, Canada, swerved her car to avoid a disabled vehicle on Interstate 79 in Worth Township and crashed into a ditch. Police said Sikora was cited for driving too fast for conditions.10 p.m. Saturday — Avehicle driven by Kacie Brown, 21, of Petrolia crashed into a tree along Fairview Road in Fairview Township. Police said Brown, who fled the scene, faces a charge for failing to immediately notify police of the accident.9:14 p.m. Friday — Acar driven by a 16-year-old Butler boy skidded on an ice patch, crashed into an embankment and flipped onto its roof on GladeMill Road in Middlesex Township.10:10 a.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Elizabeth McDade, 71, of Washington, Washington County, struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.Saturday — An unknown suspect between 8 and 11 a.m. tried to break into the Baxter Lane home of Ryan Foringer in Center Township.The would-be burglar, police said, placed a deck chair beneath a bedroom window, opened an unlocked exterior window and broke the glass of an interior window; however, the home was not entered.Saturday — An arrest warrant was issued for Matthew Dipner, 23, of Emlenton, who is accused of making terroristic threats in connection with a domestic incident involving a 20-year-old woman at a North Washington Road home in Washington Township.Friday — About 20 used car batteries were stolen between midnight and 8 a.m. from Jack Edwards Auto Parts on South Main Street in Harrisville.

1:09 a.m. today — Joseph Gallagher, no age given, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 80 in Richland Township.11:15 p.m. Monday — Christopher Crawford, 18, of New Bethlehem faces a felony assault charge for allegedly breaking the jaw of a 17-year-old boy in Rimersburg.Police said Crawford pulled along the side of Lawsonham Road, got out of a vehicle and punched the Rimersburg boy, breaking his jaw in two places.

3:36 p.m. Monday — Three people were injured when a truck driven by Jeffery Bell, 41, of Grove City and a car driven by James Moyer, 48, of Titusville collided on Route 8 in Irwin Township, just south of Barkeyville.Police said Moyer and a passenger in his car, Karen Moyer, 45, of Titusville, suffered moderate injuries; Bell suffered minor injuries.3:30 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Thomas J. Diehl, no age given, of Harrisville crashed on Route 8 in Irwin Township, south of Barkeyville, near the Butler County line. Diehl suffered unknown injuries.

3:30 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Matthew Smith, 18, of Grove City crashed and rolled onto its side along Route 173 near Gasper Road in Pine Township.
