Arthur J. Switzer
Arthur J. Switzer, 86, of Six Points near Parker died at 7:29 a.m. Sunday at the Grove City Medical Center after an illness.
Born in West Monterey, Clarion County, July 4, 1920, he was the son of Colonel Boyle and Maggie Saylor Switzer.
He was a lifelong member of the Church of God of Prophecy at Six Points, near Eau Claire.
Mr. Switzer worked much of his adult life at the former Dale Sedwick Lumber Co. of Parker and helped farm the Robinson Farm near Parker. He also was employed at Cooper-Bessemer in Grove City and for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation near Parker.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann Dunn of Old Fort, Tenn.; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A sister, Alice Snow, of the Sunnyview Home also survives.
He was the youngest of the 12 children in the Switzer family; and in addition to a number of siblings, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Sedwick Switzer, who died Dec. 12, 2005.

Switzer, who died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of God of Prophecy at Six Points, Route 58 near Eau Claire.Funeral services will be follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Bishop Jay Croyle of the Church of God of Prophecy and former pastor of the Six Points church officiating.Burial will be at the Eau Claire Cemetery.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>H.
