The Walkers in 1962

Robert and Kathleen Walker of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a surprise luncheon at Calvary Baptist Church and will take a cruise later this year to Nassau and the Bahamas.

Walker married the former Kathleen Minehart on June 2, 1962, at Grace Lutheran Church.

They have three children, Rebecca Yount of Butler, Amy Coleman of Valencia and Colleen Sexton of Cleveland, Tenn.

They also have four grandchildren.

Walker retired from Pennsylvania American Water in 1997. He also worked at the Red Head service station.

Mrs. Walker works at the Clearview Giant Eagle. She also worked at the YWCA.

The Walkers are members of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoy camping and being a part of their grandchildren’s lives.
