Football players earn D-9 honors

A number of Karns City, Moniteau and Union/A-C Valley football players have received District 9 all-star honors.

In Region 1, Karns City’s Tyler Hutchison was recognized as an offensive and defensive lineman. The Gremlins’ Zach Kelly made the squad as a return specialist, Lucas Wright as a linebacker, Nate Garing as a cornerback.

Moniteau’s Matt Martino made the team at linebacker, David Dessicino as a defensive lineman. The Warriors’ Hunter Stalker is honorable mention at running back.

In Region 2, Union/A-C Valley’s Landon Chalmers made the team as an offensive and defensive lineman, Bailey Crissman at punter, Mike Card as a defensive lineman.
