Dolores Bittner

Dolores “Dolly” Bittner, 77, of Butler, formerly of the Sarver and Saxonburg areas, passed away Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born Sept. 3, 1934, in Russellton, she was the daughter of Zarko and Anna (Petrusko) Malovich.

She worked as a deli clerk for North Star Cheese and Giant Eagle.

She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

She enjoyed reading and crocheting.

Surviving are her loving daughters, Kathy (Paul) Bittner Helgert and Karen (Tom) Bittner Pierce, both of Butler; her sister, Rose Terlizzi of Butler; two grandchildren, Nicole (John) Pierce Briggs and Jason (Lauren Parcells) Pierce; and a great-granddaughter, Kenadie Elizabeth Briggs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Bittner Tyson; her husband, Edward Bittner; and her sisters, Violet Pardo, Clara Hepner and Josephine Klebine.

<B>BITTNER</B> — Friends of Dolores “Dolly” Bittner, who died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Nathan Bramlet officiating.
