Parkinson 50th anniversary
Donald and Patricia Parkinson of Boyers celebrated 50 years of marriage with travel to Branson, Mo.; Mississippi; Fenwick Island, Del.; and Philadelphia.
The Parkinsons also hosted a gathering at their home with family and friends.
Parkinson married the former Patricia Minarik on March 20, 1959, in Tarentum.
They have five children, Donna Parkinson of Phoenixville, Pa., Kathy Stutler of Butler, Pamela Chesonis of Louisville, Miss., Lyn Noah of Hilliards and Leann Stephens of Knox, Pa.
They also have 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Another grandchild is deceased.
Mr. Parkinson is a semi-retired truck driver.
Mrs. Parkinson is employed by USIS in Boyers.
The Parkinsons enjoy spending time with their family and riding ATVs with their friends.
They attend St. Alphonsus Parish.
