The Wehrs in 1959

Edward and Beverly Wehr of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Siba in Cranberry Township.

Wehr married the former Beverly Sloan on Sept. 11, 1959, in Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church in Prospect.

They have two children, Missi Santillo of Pittsburgh and Kathy Seezox of Butler.

They also have two grandchildren.

Mr. Wehr is retired from Armco Steel, where he worked as a roll grinder. His hobbies include woodworking and church activities.

Mrs. Wehr is a homemaker. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, reading and shopping for antiques.

The Wehrs are members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in America in Butler.
