John C. McGonigle, 76, of Cranberry Township died Tuesday evening at Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford.

Born in Beaver County, May 2, 1931, he was the son of Michael and Julia Foflygen McGonigle.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cranberry Township.

Mr. McGonigle retired in August 1989 from Halstead Industries, Zelienople.

Surviving are his wife, Doris M. Rape McGonigle; two sons, John L. McGonigle of West Virginia and Michael T. McGonigle, Perrysville; three daughters, Katherine A. (Joseph) Ritter of Reistertown, Md., and Susan E. McGonigle and Cindy M. (Dale) Hauserman, both of Butler; 10 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
