12:26 a.m. Wednesday — Patricia Brown, 42, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street. She was also cited for failure to obey traffic control devices.
5:57 p.m. Wednesday — A truck driven by Glenn Stokes, 76, of Queen Creek, Ariz., and a car driven by William Mills, 76, of Grove City collided at Route 108 and West Park Road in Worth Township.Ruth Mills, 76, of Grove City, a passenger in the car, suffered minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt. Stokes was cited for a stop sign violation.1:35 p.m. Wednesday — Lisa Jones, 32, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.11:20 p.m. Tuesday — Cheryl Palermo reported that someone killed her cat and cut a strand of electrical fence that surrounds a pasture at her Pflugh Road home in Franklin Township.Tuesday — Thieves between Sunday and Tuesday broke into a pair of trailers at AAA Mini Storage on Kriess Road in Connoquenessing Township and stole numerous power tools and copper materials.Among the items taken were two roofing nailers, three circular saws, a pair of ladder jacks, three drills, three sanders, a turbo heater, kerosene heater, tile cutter, copper coils, tubing and fittings. Robert Isaacs of Butler owns the property.4:15 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Kevin Bacon, no age given, of Jefferson Township struck a stop sign at Golden City and Logan roads in Penn Township and then skidded into a large tree. Police said Bacon walked away from the crash, leaving the car behind. The investigation continues.Oct. 25 — Two compound bows, a tree stand and binoculars were stolen from a garage in a burglary between Oct. 20 and 25 at the Harris Road home of Steve Steighner in Summit Township.2:38 p.m. Oct. 15 — A van driven by Ray Goss, no age given, of Evans City struck a fence on Lion Road in Connoquenessing Township and did not stop following the crash. Goss was later cited for accidents involving damage to unattended property.
8:50 a.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by James Davis, 69, of Volant and a car driven by Blaine Nichols, 22, of Freeport collided on Route 128 at the Route 228 on-ramp in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Nichols, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
Oct. 24 — Jill Davis, Harrisville, reported two of her tires were damaged while her vehicle was parked in the parking lot at Trinity Living Center on Hillcrest Avenue.Oct. 22 — Mark Michellucci, 30, of Pittsburgh was arrested for DUI on Main Street at South Center Street. Michellucci was stopped for a turn signal violation and a regulation prohibiting stopping on a road.Oct. 20 — A medium blue cooler was found in a Blaine Street yard. The owner may contact the police to claim it.Oct. 20 — Christian George, 45, of Gilmore Avenue was charged with open container after he was reportedly found to have an alcoholic beverage in a coffee mug while at Grove City High School football game.Oct. 17— A dryer in Hopeman Hall at Grove City College was vandalized between Oct. 13 and Oct. 16. Someone tried to remove the change box from the machine by prying the coin pusher out of it.Oct. 9 — Ashley Blake, 25, and Jeremy Norcross, 22, both of South Broad Street, reported stereo equipment valued at about $300 was stolen from their vehicles while they were parked in the borough's parking lot.
