Richard D. "Rick" Bicehouse, 60, of Evans City died unexpectedly Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital after a brief illness.

Born March 3, 1947, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Charles A. Bicehouse Jr. and the late Marion Lotz Bicehouse, who died Jan. 10, 2002.

He graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 1965 and attended Youngstown State University.

Mr. Bicehouse had been an employee at MSA, Callery Chemical and BASF in Evans City for a combined 39 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his father and brother as an owner, trainer and driver of harness racehorses in Butler County for years. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, Brandon and Justin Bicehouse and Kearson and Rylan Wagner. He also enjoyed camping and boating with his family.

He was a longtime member of Crestview Presbyterian Church in Callery, where he served as a deacon and elder.

Surviving are his wife, Linda (Renick) Bicehouse, whom he married July 25, 1970. They recently celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary in Las Vegas with their family.

Also surviving are a son, Steven (Suzanne) Bicehouse of Evans City; a daughter, Cori-Rae (Brett) Wagner of Evans City; his father of Evans City; a brother, Curtis (Gretchen) Bicehouse of Baden; a sister, Christi (Michael) Rice of Evans City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

<B>BICEHOUSE </B>— Friends of Richard D. "Rick" Bicehouse, who died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 116 E. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ellen Campbell, his church pastor, and the Rev.
