4:43 p.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Brian McCafferty, 48, of Oakland Township and Christopher Kuriger, 22, of Butler collided on South Main Street. Kuriger's car, following the collision, struck a parked sport utility vehicle. Police said McCafferty was cited for a stop sign violation.8:48 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Marci Gladd, 43, of Butler Township struck the rear of a car driven by Randall Rock, 19, of Chicora at East Jefferson and First streets. The collision pushed Rock's vehicle into the rear of a car driven by Cynthia Wagner, 50, of Karns City. Rock was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.12:58 a.m. Wednesday —George Stevenson, 53, of Center Township was more than four times over the legal limit for alcohol when he was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street hill, according to a police report. An intoxilizyer test showed Stevenson's blood-alcohol level was 0.338 percent. Alevel of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.In addition to DUI, police said Stevenson was cited for driving with a suspended registration, driving without insurance and driving on the wrong side of the road.12:46 a.m. Tuesday — Police cited 11 people after breaking up an underage drinking party at a Mercer Street apartment.Officers said that along with Christopher Diaz, 20, who lives at the apartment, they found 10 others, all under 21. Among the 10 guests, three were 16 years old, three were 15, and another was 14.Police said Diaz was cited for seven counts of corruption of minors, 10 counts of furnishing alcohol to minors as well as underage drinking. Each of the 10 guests was also cited for underage drinking.5:28 p.m. Sunday — Edward Phillip Young, 49, of Connoquenessing Township was arrested for DUI on West Jefferson Street. Young was also cited for unauthorized use of a vehicle.1:04 a.m. Sunday — Jennafer Sue McGrady, 34, of Butler was arrested for DUI at West Penn and North Chestnut streets. McGrady also was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road and an open container violation.
2:43 a.m. Wednesday — Todd Moore, 39, of Butler was arrested following a disturbance on MainStreet in Lyndora. Police said Moore, who was yelling and screaming, is charged with public drunkenness and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
