Darla Jean McGinnis
Darla Jean McGinnis, 64, of Butler died at 6:25 p.m. Friday at her daughter's residence.
Born Nov. 1, 1944, in Butler, she was the daughter of Warren H. Clark and Jean Reep Clark.
Mrs. McGinnis was Protestant by faith.
She was a registered nurse and worked at Grove Manor in Grove City and also at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler, retiring in 2009.
She enjoyed family and gardening.
Mrs. McGinnis is survived by one son and his wife, James W. and Gay McGinnis of West Sunbury; one daughter and her husband, Raelene S. and Brian Ellenberger of Butler; and six grandchildren, Margaret, Clark, Sarah and Jack McGinnis and Brianna and Broc Ellenberger. Also surviving are her mother, Jean Clark of Butler; four brothers, Delbert Clark of Wyoming, Thomas Clark of Butler, Robert and his wife, Patty Clark of Butler and Ray and his wife, Marsha Clark of Butler; one sister, Ruth and her husband, Brian McCafferty, of Butler; four nieces; and one nephew.
Mrs. McGinnis was preceded in death by her husband, James E. McGinnis, who passed away Dec. 6, 2005.
<B>McGINNIS</B> — There will be no public visitation. Private funeral services for Darla Jean McGinnis, who died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, were held at the convenience of her family with the Rev. Dr. J. David Panther, of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
