Nancy Jean (DeTrude) Mahan

Nancy Jean (DeTrude) Mahan, 74, of Richland Township died Monday in Pittsburgh.

She was born Oct. 3, 1936, in Hampton Township to the late Frank and Anna (McCafferty) DeTrude.

Mrs. Mahan retired after 35 years as a secretary with the Trans Con Freight Co.

She was a member of the Hampton Presbyterian Church and AARP. She was a former secretary of the Hampton Township Cemetery.

She enjoyed cooking and canning with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Merle Mahan; her aunt, Eleanor DeTrude of Fox Chapel; a special cousin, Betty DeTrude of Richland Township; and many more cousins.

<B>MAHAN</B> — Visitation for Nancy Jean (DeTrude) Mahan, who died Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Herbert R. King Jr. Funeral Home</B>, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Brian Wallace, her church pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Hampton Township Cemetery.Memorial donations may be sent to the Hampton Presbyterian Church, 2941 E.
