Sunday - Georgia Miller reported that someone took a small statue of the Virgin Mary from the porch of her Miller Avenue home.1:10 p.m. Saturday - An unidentified red truck was blamed for causing a two-vehicle crash at Hansen Avenue and West New Castle Street.The crash occurred when the truck ran a right red, forcing David Vavro, no age given, of Butler Township to brake and abruptly stop his dump truck. A car driven by Rebecca Minto, 50, of Lyndora, which was behind the dump truck, was unable to stop and struck Vavro's vehicle in the rear. The red truck did not stop after the crash.Noon Saturday - Lance Furrh, 38, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck a vehicle on West Pearl Street. Bernard Fell of Center Township owns the vehicle struck in the crash.Friday - An unidentified vehicle struck a car parked on Center Avenue and did not stop following the crash. Amber Rennick of Evans City owns the car.

6:43 a.m. Sunday - A car driven by Stacie Faust, 24, of Conyngham, Luzerne County, struck a deer on Route 9476 in Cranberry Township.6 a.m. Sunday - A wayward horse was found wandering around the area of Simon and Headland roads in Jefferson Township. A trooper helped captured the horse, which was taken to a nearby barn. The owner of the horse is advised to contact the barracks at 724-284-8100.Saturday - A blue, 1987 Buick LeSabre was stolen between 2 and 6 p.m. while parked with the keys in the ignition on South Main Street in Slippery Rock. Dan Hamilton of Slippery Rock owns the car, which bears the Pennsylvania license plate FBE3952.Saturday - Three wheels and tires valued at $400 were taken between June 11 and Saturday on a theft at North Ash Avenue on Parker, Armstrong County. William Fair of Parker owns the stolen property.7:19 p.m. Friday - An unidentified blue minivan made an illegal U-turn on Unionville Road at the Butler Fairgrounds entrance in Franklin Township, causing a collision between a pickup truck driven by Kevin Kline, 27, and a car driven by Brandie McCall, 17, both of Butler. The minivan did not stop following the crash.12:07 p.m. Friday - Christopher McFadden, 27, of Butler was seriously injured when his car struck a tree along North Osche Road in Clearfield Township. Volunteer firefighters from East Butler and Herman cut through the Pontiac Grand Am to free McFadden, who was flown to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning.5:34 p.m. Thursday - Two boy's bicycles were reported stolen from Minteer and Unionville roads in Franklin Township. The bikes, which are valued at $400, are a 24-inch aluminum Pacifica and a 20-inch green Hero.4:36 p.m. Thursday - Cars driven by Elyane Scott, no age available, and Holly Jones, 19, of Chicora collided on Route 68 in Chicora. Scott and a passenger in her car, Tara Hood, 15, of Chicora, both wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries.Thursday - A red, 2003 Kawasaki all-terrain vehicle was taken in a theft at the Thorn Apple Drive home of Chris Skidmore in Oakland Township.1:38 p.m. June 13 - Three people were injured in a four-vehicle crash at Route 38 and Pine Tract Road in Center Township.Suffering minor injuries in the crash were three of the drivers, David Nazarewicz, 40, of Chicora; Pearl Cranmer, 62, of Butler; and Dave Kasmoch, 73, of Florida. All three drivers were wearing seat belts. The fourth driver, Nicole Gall, 17, of West Sunbury, was not injured.8:30 a.m. June 10 - Luke Sopel, 23, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he drove his car into the front windows and door of the Dollar General store on North Main Street Extension in Center Township. Sopel was also cited for undisclosed traffic violations.June 10 - A red, 12-horsepower riding lawn mower was taken from a shed June 9 or 10 in a burglary at the Cherry Blossom Lane home of Janice Norris in Connoquenessing Township.June 10 - The Bruin Volunteer Fire Department reported the theft of $50 from the fire hall office between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

12:25 a.m. Saturday - Michael Redmond, 36, of Rimersburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 1038 in West Kittanning, Armstrong County.

10:22 p.m. Saturday - Jerry Giebner, 17, of Grove City swerved his car to avoid a deer and struck a utility pole along Route 1304 in Pine Township, Mercer County.12:10 p.m. Saturday - Cars driven by Edward Aschley, no age given, and Katelyn Herman, no age given, both of Pittsburgh collided on Route 208 at the Interstate 79 off-ramp in Springfield Township, Mercer County.6:15 p.m. Wednesday - William Lee Bobbert, no age given, of Grove City was arrested for assaulting Melissa Scholpy, no age given, of Grove City during a domestic dispute at a Bottle Hill Road home in Springfield Township, Mercer County.
