Last year I correctly predicted more first-round picks in my NFL mock draft than ESPN mortal enemies Mel Kiper and Todd McShay.

Mocking the 2012 draft was easy compared to this year’s first round, which begins tonight.

I’m going to do my best:

No. 1, Chiefs: OT Eric Fisher. A surprise right out of the gate. A MAC school with the No. 1 overall pick? What’s next? Another OT going No. 2?

No. 2, Jags: OT Luke Joeckel. Yes. This draft is weak on skill players. There will be tons of OL and DL taken.

No. 3, Raiders: DT Sharrif Floyd. Another.

No. 4, Eagles: DE Dion Jordan. And another.

No. 5, Lions: DE Ezekiel Ansah. And (yawn) another.

No. 6, Browns: CB Dee Milliner. If there were a QB — any QB — who was remotely good in this draft, Cleveland would take him here.

No. 7, Cardinals: DT Star Lotulelei.

No. 8, Bills: QB Ryan Nassib. This is etched in stone. Doug Marrone is coach of the month in Buffalo and Nassib was his QB at Syracuse.

No. 9, Jets: OLB Barkevious Mingo. Best name in the draft.

No. 10, Titans: G D.J. Fluker. Worst name in the draft.

No. 11, Chargers: OT Lane Johnson.

No. 12, Dolphins: TE Tyler Eifert.

No. 13, Jets: CB Xavier Rhoades. New York fans get two chances to boo loudly.

No. 14, Panthers: WR Tavon Austin. Steve Smith can’t lug his walker out on pass routes for much longer.

No. 15, Saints: S Kenny Vaccaro.

No. 16, Rams: WR DeAndre Hopkins.

No. 17, Steelers: OLB Jarvis Jones. Pittsburgh would love an impact player at this pick, but the best WRs and CBs are gone. That leaves Jones, who ran a poor 40 time and has a spinal issue that caused his stock to drop.

No. 18, Cowboys: G/C Jonathan Cooper.

No. 19, Giants: DT Sheldon Richardson.

No. 20, Bears: G Chance Womack.

No. 21, Bengals: CB Honey Badger, er, Tyrann Mathieu. The Bengals like them some bad boys.

No. 22, Rams: LB Alec Ogletree.

No. 23, Vikings: DT Sylvester Williams. Vikes’ war room: “He’s a DT and his name is Williams? Draft him!”

No. 24, Colts: DE Tank Carradine.

No. 25, Vikings: Manti Te’o. (Insert Te’o joke here).

No. 26, Packers: WR Justin Hunter.

No. 27, Texans: WR Cordarrelle Patterson.

No. 28, Broncos: DE Datone Jones.

No. 29, Patriots: TE Zach Ertz. The Pats’ are TE happy and Gronk may be grunting from the sidelines for awhile.

No. 30, Falcons: CB D.J. Hayden.

No. 31, 49ers: S Jonathan Cyprien.

No. 32, Ravens: S Matt Elam.
