Edward and Edith Cary of Cranberry Township celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Hampton Banquet Hall in Gibsonia.

The former Edith Hood married Edward Cary on March 27, 1954, at Avalon Presbyterian Church in Avalon.

They have four children, Darlene Sansone of New Castle, Edward Cary Jr. of New Brighton, Doreen Cary of Cranberry Township and Tami Kuny of Fombell.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Cary is retired from BILLCO MFG in Zelienople. He is a member of the American Legion 116 in Avalon.

Mrs. Cary is a homemaker.
