9:30 p.m. Thursday — An unknown vehicle struck a car owned by David and Kristen Lollo while it was parked on West Brady Street. The driver's side doors, front fender and side mirror were damaged between 9:30 and 10 p.m. White paint was left on the car where it was dented.4 p.m. Thursday — Janet Wolfe reported an unknown vehicle struck her parked car on North Elm Street. Police report a dent was left on the car's rear passenger side quarter panel.4:50 a.m. Thursday — Wesley Harrison Frank Jr., 24, of Butler and Angela Christine Derringer, 26, of Butler were arrested on outstanding warrants following a traffic stop on West Penn Street. Frank also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and not using turn signals. Police report Frank turned right onto Brady from Wilson without using a turn signal. During a search of the vehicle, a metal pipe with suspected crack cocaine residue was found under the seat. Frank's warrant was issued by the Butler County Sherif's office. Derringer was wanted by city police. She was arraigned before on-call District Judge Wayne Seibel and jailed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bond. Frank was placed in the prison on the bench warrant.11:25 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Gabriel Hall, 19, of Prospect backed into the rear bumper of a parked van owned by Gerald Robinson of Butler on East Cunningham Street.11:32 p.m. May 5 — A car driven by Renee Simons, 41, of Butler struck a traffic light pole off Hansen Avenue before turning down an unnamed alley and hitting hedges along the road. She was treated at the scene by Butler Ambulance for minor facial injuries. Police report Simons drove down the alley to flee the scene of the first wreck when her vehicle became stuck in the hedges. She was charged with accidents involving damage to property.
11:15 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Michael Burns, 20, of Cabot failed to round a bend on Winfield Road in Winfield Township and landed in a ditch. He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Burns was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.12:29 a.m. Thursday — Michael Steighner, 29, of Saxonburg was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Pillow Street in Butler.2:14 p.m. Wednesday — An unknown vehicle collided with a car driven by David Olbeter, 57, of New Kensington at the intersection of Knoch and Dinnerbell roads. The first vehicle fled the scene. Olbeter and his passenger, Margret Olbeter, were wearing seat belts and were not injured.Saturday — Someone stole more than $300 worth of building materials and galvanized pipe gate from property owned by William Sibbet of Pittsburgh on Sugar Valley Lane in Allegheny Township between 12:01 a.m. May 3 and 8 a.m. May 17.May 2 — Someone stole a leather wallet containing $130 in cash from a vehicle owned by Gabriel Zalfini, 21, of Slippery Rock while it was parked at 277 Centerville Pike in Brady Township between 7 a.m. May 1 and 10 p.m. May 2.
6 p.m. Saturday — Someone fired a bullet into the rear taillights of a vehicle owned by Gregory Miller of Richland Township while it was parked at 608 Heeter Road between 3 and 5 p.m. Damages are estimated at $170.
Thursday — Someone smashed the mailbox at Gaylord Wimer Jr.'s residence at 857 Rose Point Road in Slippery Rock Township.
