Dana R. Myers

Dana R. "Pork" Myers, 74, of Middlesex Township, formerly of Sligo, died Wednesday after a brief illness.
Born Feb, 27, 1935, in Sligo, he was the son of the late Neuland and Margaret (Wentzel) Myers.
Dana was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 249. He was a 27-year employee of Eazor Express, and in 1995 retired from Roadway Express.
He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Ivan, Dorie and Dee Myers.
He was the loving father of Tammy Myers, Dionne Brelsford, Todd Myers, Traci Myers and Megan McDonnell; the dear brother of Phyllis Tippery, Lora Jean Gathers, Mona Boyles and Donna Elmore; the loving grandfather of Joshua, Owen, Hannah and Claudia Brelsford, Mackenzie and Tyler Myers, and Freddy Grosshaupt IV.
<B>MYERS</B> — A private ceremony will be held by the family of Dana R. "Pork" Myers, who died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, later before he is laid to rest in his family plot in Sligo.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Salvation Army, 313 W.
