David B. Carothers

David B. Carothers, 74, of Harmony died Friday at his home.

Born June 8, 1930, in Ellwood City, he was the son of David R. and Anna Koach Carothers.

Mr. Carothers was a member of the North Way Christian Community Church in Wexford.

He was an Air Force veteran and worked for Billco Manufacturing for more than 40 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed music.

Surviving are his wife, Ann L. Carothers, whom he married on March 16, 1991; three daughters, Melinda Harold of Pittsburgh and Diane DeFreese and Donna Robinsky, both of Alabama; four sons, Kenny Endler of Harmony, Mark and Dan Carothers, both of Ellwood City, and Doug Carothers of Butler; and two brothers, Merlin Carothers of California and Jerry Carothers Kentucky. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

CAROTHERS - There will be no visitation. A celebration of life service for David B. Carothers, who died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at North Way Christian Community Church, 12121 Perry Highway, Wexford. Private burial will be at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Franklin Township, Beaver County.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Foundation of Praise, Box 2518, Escondido, CA 92029Arrangements entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, Zelienople; and online condolences may be submitted at boylanfuneralhome.com.
