Mars' Heavner hurls no-hitter
Mars pitcher Alex Heavner pitched a five-inning no-hitter in a 13-0 baseball defeat of Woodland Hills Monday afternoon.
Heavner struck out 11 and walked two in earning the victory.
He added a 2-for-3 effort at the plate, including a double and three RBI.
Teddy Ruffner belted a 3-run home run for the Planets (6-5, 4-3) while Dawson Cadamore was 3-for-3 at the plate with a double.
