11:40 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Christine Pakutz, 20, of Oakland Township struck a gas meter, utility pole and shrubbery after skidding off ice-covered Roosevelt Boulevard. Shannon Gizienski, 17, of Oakland Township, a passenger in the car, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries.11:08 p.m. Monday — Barbara Raybuck, 43, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after her car struck a utility pole along Pillow Street. Raybuck also was cited for careless driving.8:40 a.m. Jan. 20 — Shane Adam Hinchberger, no age given, of Butler faces a charge of corruption of minors for allegedly providing marijuana to his 17-year-old girlfriend.1:51 p.m. Jan. 19 — Michael Sean Gayhart, 25, of Butler Township faces drug-related charges following a traffic stop on West New Castle Street.Gayhart, who was a passenger in the car, was searched and found with a cigarette box containing two stamp bags of suspected heroin. He also was allegedly found with marijuana and a metal smoking pipe.He faces charges for possession of a controlled substance, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Tuesday — Ronald Wischerman Jr., 28, of Portersville is accused of trying to shoplift an LCDtelevision at the Wal-Mart store in Butler Commons. Police saidWischerman faces a charge of retail theft.
5:35 p.m. Wednesday — Jason Isaacks, no age given, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck another car at Unionville and Brown roads in Center Township.Kim Guterry, no age given, of West Sunbury, the other driver, suffered minor injuries.3 p.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Luke Schenck, 17, of Butler crashed into another car on Washington Street in Fairview. Following the collision, the other car, driven by Tracy Schnur, 38, of Emlenton, struck a guardrail.Police said Schnur and a passenger in her car, Tanner Schnur, 15, of Emlenton, were treated at Butler Memorial for unknown injuries.11:45 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Jessica Porterfield, 20, of Grove City struck another car, driven by David Conti, 55, of New Castle, that moments earlier had slid off ice-covered Kiester Road in Slippery Rock Township.4:52 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Troy Scarselli, 45, of Boyers struck a tree along Boyers Road in Marion Township. Police said Scarselli fled and faces hit-and-run and other charges in the crash.2:55 p.m. Monday — Aminivan driven by Steven Shaffer, 37, of Adrian, Armstrong County, struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle on Route 422 in Summit Township. Police said Shaffer was cited for driving too fast for conditions. Keith Long, 44, of Butler was driving the SUV.Sunday — Ablack leather change purse was stolen from a vehicle on Chapelview Drive in Winfield Township. The theft occurred between 2:30 and 3 p.m. Marlene Pagano of Butler said her purse, valued at $30, contained no money.
