MEETING SOON?: Representatives from the NHL and the players’ associations have been in contact, and deputy commissioner Bill Daly told The Associated Press in an email on Sunday that the sides are working on meeting again soon. “Trying to set up something for this week, but nothing finalized yet,” Daly said.
WHAT WE MISSED: Five games were lost on Sunday night, including a Central Division matchup in St. Louis between the Chicago Blackhawks and the host Blues. St. Louis won the division last season with 109 points, eight more than fourth-place Chicago.
