The state Department of Transportation is announcing periodic lane restrictions this week on Route 228 from the Adams Area Fire District's new station eastward to the border of Adams and Middlesex townships.

A contractor working on the Route 228 expansion project will be performing survey work between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, in that area.

On June 15, June 19 and June 20, survey work will be performed on Route 228 at the Three Degree Road intersection.
