Gary L. Pfeifer, 64, of Prospect passed away Thursday at UPMC Passavant, McCandless Township.

Born March 29, 1947, in Evans City, he was the son of the late Frederick and Hazel Fiel Pfeifer.

He was a member of the Old Union Presbyterian Church, Mars.

He had retired from AK Steel as a millwright after 30 years.

He is survived by two sisters, Ms. Judith Pfeifer of Renfrew and Lois (Ronald) Kobet of Kentucky; and three brothers, Walter “Buck” (Sherry) Pfeifer of Butler, Carl (Carol) Pfeifer of Cranberry Township and Dennis (Sherri) Pfeifer of Sarver.
