Ruth E. Gould
Ruth E. Gould, 83, of Butler passed peacefully early Sunday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia in Cabot.
She was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Cabot, a daughter of the late Harry and Mabel Krumphe Cypher.
Ruth was a longtime member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Butler and the AARP, and she had been a drummer in the Catholic Daughters of America Drum and Bugle Corps.
She was a devoted wife and homemaker and also enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She especially loved watching her many nieces and nephews grow through the years and then helping their families grow. There was no one like our "Aunt Ruthie" and many will miss her.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Donald E. "Gouldy" Gould, and numerous nieces and nephews.
As the last surviving member of her immediate family of 11 children, she was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters.
