Lucille Sarver
Lucille Sarver, 88, of South Buffalo Township passed away at 7:30 a.m. Monday while in the company of family members at Shelbourne Assisted Living, Butler.
Lucille was born in Johnstown, March 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Elmer G. and Vera (Dahlstrom) Goughenour.
She was the widow of Matthew E. Sarver, who passed in 1992.
Lucille was a member of the Freeport United Methodist Church and the Senior Citizens of Freeport and Tarentum. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years and was very involved with the Jumonville Church Camp. She was instrumental in the creation of the Girl Scouts in Freeport.
She enjoyed activities at her church and doing crafts.
She is survived by her two sons, Edward J. (Lorrane) Sarver of Cranberry Township and Charles E. (Debbie) Sarver of Freeport; five daughters, Donna (Richard) Crabil of South Buffalo Township, Nancy (Richard) Cerrone of Kennedy Township, Jean (Daniel) Benik of Buffalo Township, Joyce Spiering of Pittsburgh and Becky (William) Ross of South Buffalo Township; and two sisters, June Schwietering of South Buffalo Township and Betty (John) Rassau of Natrona Heights. Lucille is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded by two brothers, Samuel and Elwood Goughenour; her sister, Ellen Everett; and her great-grandson, Kevin Tyler Wolfe.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in the Freeport United Methodist Church with the Rev. Edd Myers officiating.
