Kathryn C. Zurzolo
Kathryn Connie Zurzolo, 67, of Butler died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday at her home.
Born Nov. 14, 1937, in Grove City, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Roberta Morter Uber.
She was a member of Free Methodist Church. She was a 20-year member of the Petrolia Lions, where she served as president, vice president, secretary and treasurer and also was King Lion from 1999-2000 and received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. She was a life member of the Oneida Valley Ladies Auxiliary and Eastern Star. She had been president of the TOPS club.
She was a licensed practical nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital for 27 years.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Clair Zurzolo, whom she married Dec. 30, 1955; a daughter, Antonette Christy of Butler; two sons, Robert Zurzolo of Florida and Frank Zurzolo of Waynesburg; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A brother, John Uber of Boston, Mass.; two sisters-in-law, Sara Jessie Kern and Mary Bowser, both of Butler; a brother-in-law and his wife, Sam and Bonnie Zurzolo of Butler; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
ZUROLO - Friends Kathryn Connie Zurzolo, who died Sundaywill be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. Matthew Perkins, officiating.
