The bridge over Sullivan Run on Cunningham Street was opened to traffic Friday morning, after contractors finished installing a mast arm holding a traffic signal for the road’s eastbound lane.

The bridge, which has been closed since late April, was replaced with a box culvert structure as part of a $2.2 million project.

City Code Enforcement officer John Evans said that a final inspection of the structure was still scheduled for Tuesday.
