Jake Koerner threw a complete-game 1-hitter as Meridian edged Zelienople 6-3 in legion action Tuesday night.

Robert Stamm had a single and three RBI and Colin Williamson and Kyle Peskowitz each doubled for Meridian.

Saxonburg 11, Butler City 5 — Luke Kroneberg had a two-run triple and Nate Sarnese swiped home for the go-ahead run for Saxonburg.

Hunter Balliet had a double and Tyler Smith two singles for Saxonburg (11-3).

East Butler 9, Slippery Rock 2 — Dustin Kepple had a double and three singles and Tanner Gilliland added a double and two singles for East Butler (13-1)

Center Township 6, West Sunbury 4 — Aaron Voelker had a triple and two singles and Patrick Byrd and Ben Hortert also tripled for Center Township, who received six strikeouts in a winning effort by Cole Campbell.

Joe Holfelder had a double and triple to pace West Sunbury.
