Spryn, Leitner
Rachel Spryn of Butler and Matthew Leitner of Stoughton, Wis., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. March 6 at Covenant United Presbyterian Church in Butler. The Rev. Donald Leitner officiated. A reception followed at Calvary Baptist Academy.
The bride is the daughter of John and Mary Spryn of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Donald and Sally Leitner of Stoughton.
The maid of honor was Hannah Spryn of Butler. Bridesmaids were Alicia Hoffman of Holsopple; Rachel Timpe of Homer City; Teresa Bambrough and Melinda Leitner, both of Stoughton; Alma Horst of Harrod, Ohio; Courtney Collins of Adrian, Mich.; Julia Numer and Theresa Numer, both of Conneautville; Caroline Bekok of Kinnelon, N.J. and Anna Courchaine of Mishicot, Wis. The flower girl was Grace Spryn of Butler.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was William Leitner of Stoughton. Groomsmen were Javier Mancada of Washington D.C.; Benjamin Wheeldon of Milwaukee; Robert Leitner and Jeremy Ortman, both of Stoughton; Timothy Bailey of Michigan; Nathaniel Sias of Lorain, Ohio, Marius Porcius of St. Louis; Stephen Garvin of Indiana; Oliver Spryn of North Huntingdon; and James Stahura and Jon Stahura, both of Butler. The ring bearer was Christopher Spryn of Butler.
The bride was homeschooled and earned a diploma in 2003. A former piano teacher, she will be a homemaker.
The bridegroom graduated in 1993 from Stoughton High School and is a 1997 graduate of Madison Technical College. He works for H&R Block in Stoughton and Evansville, Wis.
The couple honeymooned at Prince Edward Island, Canada and lives in Stoughton.
