SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Michael Carson, 49, of Freeport waived to court charges of driving under the influence, careless driving, driving on the wrong side of the road and not using turn signals, filed Oct. 22 by Buffalo Township police.

Erika L. Celestin, 26, of Butler waived to court a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Nov. 16 by state police.

Donald Gancas, 51, of Sarver pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment, filed Nov. 26 by Buffalo Township police. Gancas was ordered to pay $265 in fines and court costs.

Karla Horanic, 48, of Valencia waived to court a charge of bad checks, filed Nov. 26 by Middlesex Township police.

Michael M. Marks, 30, of Saxonburg pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Nov. 14 by Buffalo Township police. Marks was ordered to pay $440 in fines and court costs.

Marks, in a separate case filed June 1, 2006, by Buffalo Township police, waived to court charges of DUI, driving without a license, driving with a suspended license, an open container violation and improper sunscreening on windows.

Craig Negley Sr., 57, of Sarver waived to court charges of DUI, speeding, not using turn signals and careless driving, filed Oct. 1 by Buffalo Township police.

Albert R. Ozog II, 26, of Butler waived to court charges of access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property, filed Sept. 24 by Penn Township police.

Scott A. Rafalko, 42, of Sarver was held for court on charges of DUI, a stop sign violation and not using turn signals, filed Nov. 12 by Buffalo Township police.

Xavier Redick, 34, of Butler was held for court on charges of DUI, filed Sept. 24 by Penn Township police.

Matthew Rouch, 29, of Sarver waived to court charges of DUI and speeding, filed Oct. 22 by Buffalo Township police.

Franklin J. Sonner, 29, of Tarentum waived to court charges of DUI and a stop sign violation filed Nov. 26 by Buffalo Township police.

John T. Vargas Jr., 25, of Sarver pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks, filed Nov. 26 by Buffalo Township police. Vargas was ordered to pay $335.31 in fines and court costs.

BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Mark D. Frey, 42, of York, York County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence, careless driving and a turning violation, filed Nov. 13 by state police.Megan Lee Gibson, 18, of Butler waived to court charges of retail theft, receiving stolen property and two counts of conspiracy, filed Dec. 19 by Butler Township police.Isaiah D. Hill, 24, of Butler waived to court charges of retail theft, receiving stolen property and two counts of conspiracy, filed Dec. 19 by Butler Township police.Janell L. Jenkins, 26, of Butler waived to court charges of retail theft and conspiracy, filed Dec. 26 by Butler Township police.Richard Lee Kibe, 26, of Butler waived to court 10 counts of possession of child pornography and five counts each of disseminating child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility, filed Sept. 6 by state police.James A. Petrigni, 42, of Butler waived to court charges of theft by deception and receiving stolen property, filed Dec. 5 by Butler Township police.Lisa J. Pfeifer, 48, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, reckless driving and possession of a controlled substance, filed Nov. 13 by Butler Township police.William J. Stutz Jr., 47, of Butler pleaded guilty to two counts of harassment, filed Nov. 5 by Butler Township police. Stutz was ordered to pay $445 in fines and court costs.David H. Tack Jr., 42, of Butler waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed Dec. 31 by Butler Township police.Tack, in a separate case filed Jan. 3 by Butler Township police, waived to court charges of retail theft, receiving stolen property and unlawfully using a shopping cart to commit the theft.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Christopher L. Edwards, 27, of Bruin was held for court on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, felons not to possess firearms, carrying a gun without a permit, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property, filed Sept. 14.Edwards, in a separate case filed Sept. 17, waived to court a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
