SLIPPERY ROCK — The following cases were recently heard by District Judge Clifford Woessner:

Robert Dale Hicks, 38, of Freedom waived to court two counts of driving under the influence charges filed May 8 by state police.

Connie Lynn Ball, 35, of West Sunbury waived to court two counts of theft by unlawful taking charges and two counts of receiving stolen property charges filed May 7 by state police.

Philip Michael Galante, 20, of Butler waived to court two counts of harassment charges filed May 1 by Slippery Rock University Police.

Timothy Patrick Richey, 21, of Mount Pleasant waived to court two counts of driving under the influence charges filed May 1 by Slippery Rock Borough Police.

Eric M. Mastriano, 20, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of receiving stolen property and theft by deception filed April 24 by Slippery Rock University Police.

James Phillip Schawl, 26, of Worthington was held for court on two counts of driving under the influence charges filed April 21 by state police.

Timothy J. Catterall, 60, of Harmony waived to court two counts of driving under the influence charges filed April 21 by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources at Moraine State Park.

BUTLERTWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Sarah D. Anthony, 21, of Butler waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed April 24 by Butler Township police.David M. Cummings, 20, of Renfrew waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving, not wearing a seat belt and underage drinking, filed April 14 by Butler Township police.Nancy C. Denney, 55, of Parker waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed April 23 by Butler Township police.Paul L. Ealy, 56, of Lyndora waived to court charges of DUI and a stop sign violation, filed April 29 by Butler Township police.Tina M. Gibson, 31, of Butler waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed April 24 by Butler Township police.Michael J. Gladd, 37, of Butler waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and driving with a suspended license, filed April 2 by Butler Township police.Robin J. Hart, 28, of Valencia was held for court on charges of DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, driving without headlights, careless driving and an open container violation, filed Feb. 25 by Butler Township police.Kerry P. Paulick, 43, of Lyndora was held for court on charges of DUI, accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property and driving without insurance, filed March 18 by Butler Township police.Bryan A. Perri, 18, of Butler waived to court charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, carrying a gun without a permit and illegal sale or transfer of firearms, filed May 19 by the Butler County Drug Task Force.Brittney R. Rudolph, 24, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana, filed April 16 by Butler Township police. Rudolph was ordered to pay $496.50 in fines and court costs.Christopher W. Schmidt, 30, of Butler waived to court two counts each of access device fraud and receiving stolen property, filed May 20 by Butler Township police.Christopher L. Spears, 51, of Butler waived to court charges of retail and theft, filed May 25 by Butler Township police.John T. Tirk, 31, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI and speeding, filed April 14 by Butler Township police.Marian F. Vavro, 56, of Butler was held for court on charges of DUI, careless driving and a lane violation, filed May 8 by Butler Township police.

CHICORA — District Judge Clifford Woessner, filling in for District Judge Lewis Stoughton, recently heard these cases filed by state police:Michael Carnahan, 41, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and failure to keep right, filed April 11.Christopher Fair, 34, of Petrolia was held for court on charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving, failure to keep right, and limitations on driving a vehicle on the left, filed March 27.Nicholas Kinnear, 21, of Hilliards was held for court on charges of DUI, failure to keep right, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving, driving with a suspended license, failure to stop and render aid after an accident, and failure to immediately notify police of an accident, filed April 14.James J. Macarthur, 49, of Fenelton was held for court on charges of simple assault, false imprisonment and harassment, filed May 28.Donald J. McCoy, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed May 24.William J. Simpson III, 20, of Butler waived to court charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and criminal mischief, filed April 28.

Gressley, 25, of Butler waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed Feb. 2 by Penn Township police.Matthew Kozlowski, 30, of Sarver waived to court charges of reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, simple assault and harassment, filed May 25 by Saxonburg police.James Meissner, 46, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI and illegally passing another vehicle, filed April 20 by Middlesex Township police.Brian R. Nickel, 43, of Pittsburgh was held for court on a charge of bad checks, filed Feb. 29 by Penn Township police.Danny Thompson, 25, of Butler waived to court charges of forgery and receiving stolen property, filed July 6, 2007, by Buffalo Township police.
