William Sr. and Shirley Dellich of West Sunbury will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a dinner and party for family and friends Saturday at the North Washington Social Hall. The event will by hosted by their children.

The former Shirley Hoff married Dellich on Nov. 6, 1954.

They have four children, William Dellich Jr. and Chris McKinney, both of West Sunbury; Marilyn Thompson of Eau Claire; and Tricia Beach of Chicora.

They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Dellich retired from U.S. Steel in Saxonburg in 1983. He currently works as an equipment operator at Dellich Excavating in West Sunbury. He is a member of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America.

Mrs. Dellich is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
