9:56 p.m. Wednesday — Daniel Swartzlander, 21, of Center Township was arrested for driving under the influence at Route 422 and North Main Street. Police said Swartzlander also was cited for speeding.

6:25 a.m. Monday — Acar driven by Marie Shearer, 60, of Butler struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.1 a.m. Monday — Two men are accused of stealing a pair of jackets and a wallet at the Coney Island restaurant on Kelly Boulevard in Slippery Rock.Police said Gregory Ernzer, 24, of Irwin, Westmoreland County, and Quinton Tingwall, 24, of Warren, Warren County, are charged with theft. The stolen items, according to a police report, were found in Ernzer's vehicle.Monday — Several compact discs valued at $200 were taken from a vehicle at the Trader Horn parking lot in Washington Township. John Benson of North Washington owns the property taken between 1 and 9 p.m.5:39 p.m. Saturday — Apickup truck driven by Grant Hogg, 18, of Slippery Rock crashed into a ditch along Harmony Road in Slippery Rock Township. Hogg was treated at Grove City Medical Center for undisclosed injuries. Police said Hogg was cited for a lane violation.4:23 p.m. Saturday — Floyd Richard Holton, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 528 near Route 422 in Franklin Township.

11:49 p.m. Sunday — Tony L. Wise, 49, of East Brady is accused of assaulting a 38-year-old woman at the Bradys Bend Trailer Park in Bradys Bend Township.Police said Wise allegedly slapped the face of Johnita Bramlet of East Brady and kicked her in the stomach. Wise was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in theArmstrong County Jail on $5,000 bond.4:35 p.m. Sunday — Acar driven by Heather Kisel, 21, of Saxonburg and a sport utility vehicle driven by Mary Meredith, 39, of Dubois, ClearfieldCounty, collided on Route 28 in Harrison Township, Allegheny County. Police said Kisel was cited for a lane violation.12:30 a.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Matthew Claypoole, 34, of Worthington struck a tree along Bear Street in East Franklin Township.

12:01 a.m. Saturday — A New Castle couple faces weapons charges after police found two handguns under the front seats of their car, which had been pulled over for a traffic stop on Princeton Station Road at Majors Trailer Court inSlippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.Police said Ronald G. Lyons Jr., 26, and Carrie Lynn Reid, 31, were charged with carrying guns without a permit. Additionally, police said, Lyons is charged with driving under the influence and an open container violation.
