2:55 p.m. Wednesday — Vehicles driven by Clarence Myrick, 51, of Butler and Tracie Rettig, 43, of Prospect collided on West New Castle Street near Eighth Avenue. Tracie Lynn McCurdy, 30, of Prospect, a passenger in Rettig's vehicle, suffered minor injuries.
5:35 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Theresa Moore, 25, of West Sunbury slid into a minivan on snow-covered Route 68 in Forward Township. Michael Burgoon, 57, of West Sunbury was driving the van. Moore was cited for a lane violation.12:30 p.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle slid off Interstate 79 in Worth Township, hit an embankment and rolled onto its driver's side. Police did not report the driver's name.12:05 p.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Vincent Ludovici Jr., no age given, of New Castle crashed into a hillside and rolled over along Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. Ludovici was cited for driving too fast for conditions.1:16 a.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by Willard Burns, 20, of Butler struck a mailbox and tree after sliding off snow-covered Hannahstown Road in Jefferson Township.Saturday — Someone smashed a mailbox owned by Pamela Flannery at her Rennick Road, Jefferson Township, residence.11:30 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Tiffany Blauser, 21, of Emlenton struck an embankment after hitting an ice patch on Route 58 in Marion Township.10:25 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Narender Jayachandran, 23, of Hagerstown, Md., crashed into a guardrail on I-79 in Lancaster Township.6:48 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Penelope Davis, 65, of Prospect struck a tree after sliding off snow- and slush-covered Yellow Creek Road in Muddy Creek Township.3 p.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Kristen Martin, 19, of Canonsburg, Washington County, struck several trees along I-79 in Cranberry Township. Martin faces a charge for a lane violation.2 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Thomas R. Turner, 20, of Meadville, Crawford County, and Melissa Neely, 21, of Emlenton collided on I-79 in Worth Township. Turner faces a charge for driving too fast for conditions.1:45 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Christopher Maida, 21, of Milford, Pike County, slid across Route 258 in Liberty Township, Mercer County, and hit a culvert. The car rolled over and landed on its wheels. No injuries were reported. The driver was issued a warning for driving too fast for conditions.9:15 a.m. Friday — A blue, Mongoose BMX bicycle was found in a field south of Fox's Pizza on Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township. The owner can claim the bike by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.5:20 a.m. Thursday — A pickup driven by Krystan Gurowski, 21, of Slippery Rock crashed into an embankment after hitting an ice patch on Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township. Gurowski suffered minor injuries.
6:37 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Connie Tyson, 35, of Rimersburg crashed into a ditch on Route 58 in Licking Township.
3:45 p.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Francis L. Baker, 34, of Volant slid off Courtney Mill Road in Liberty Township and struck a tree. The driver was cited for not driving his vehicle at a safe speed. He was not injured.2 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Mark Pearson Jr., 21, of New Castle and Jessica Porterfield, 20, of Grove City collided on snow-covered Route 208 in Pine Township. Pearson faces a charge for driving too fast for conditions.
2:19 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Cheryl C. Herndon, 39, of Butler slid off Route 488 in Perry Township and struck a guardrail. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment.
