Larry Luther Bowser
Larry Luther Bowser, 58, of 204 Water St., Bruin, died at 2:30 a.m. today at his home after an illness.
Born in Parker, Armstrong County, April 21, 1947, he was the son of the late Luther Burrell Bowser and the late Edith Mae LeVier Bowser.
He attended Bruin Elementary School and the Karns City High School and worked at Knox Glass Containers in Parker and the Snyder Coal Co. in Bruin.
Mr. Bowser was a Protestant. He enjoyed wood crafting, making wooden lawn ornaments, cooking, baking and gardening.
Surviving are five sisters, Judy Hindman and her husband, Gary, of Bruin; Beryl Wyant and her husband, Robert, of Parker; Pamela Wise of Kittanning; Kathy Rider and her husband, Steve, of Lakeland, Fla.; and Linda Hiles and her husband, David, of Petrolia; and three brothers, Gary Lee Bowser and his wife, Barbara, of Bruin; Terry Bowser and his wife, Rhonda, of Chicora; and Barry Bowser and his wife, Melissa, of Bruin. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
BOWSER - Friends of Larry Luther Bowser, who died Thursday, June 16, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday atRICHARD D. HILLIS FUNERAL HOME, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. James LeVier officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.
