McMillin 60th anniversary
Harry and Eleanor McMillin of Parker will celebrate 60 years of marriage with an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the family home, 223 Wabash Ave., Parker. The family requests no gifts.
The couple was married June 24, 1949, at Martinsburg Presbyterian Church in Bruin.
They have two children, Patty Monaco and Connie McMillin.
They also have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
McMillin is retired from Witco Chemical Company in Petrolia. He is a World War II veteran.Mrs. McMillin retired from working as an elementary school teacher for the Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District. She also taught at Parker Elementary School and was a school librarian.The McMillins are active members of their community and First Presbyterian Church in Parker.
